Welcome to JP Heritage Construction, where we care for all buildings entrusted to us. Our website is where we showcase our services, projects and craftsmanship. With 30 years of working within listed structures and national monuments, we care for all buildings from medieval through to Victorian. If you have a project you would like us to look at, please get in touch.
What We Do
We take great pride in our commitment to preserving the unique character and history of the buildings we are entrusted with. Our ethos is to always remain true to the original materials and historic fabric of the building. In line with Historic England's guidelines, we use the same materials and methodology originally used, as a correct like-for-like restoration.
We care for all buildings we work with, including Grade I and Grade II listed structures along with national monuments. Assessing the substrate and the original protective covering, whether it's lime plaster, lime render or Roman cements, we restore using the same compatible materials that move and flex with the building, giving a long-term fix rather than a patchwork repair.

Our Ethos
Here we take great pride in our commitment to preserving the unique character and history of the buildings we are entrusted with. Our ethos is to always remain true to the historic fabric of the building.
With 30 years in the industry, we work on Grade I and Grade II listed buildings along with national monuments. Working directly with the IHBC, we get the right specifications for each project, and using like-for-like materials and methodologies we ensure the restoration will last as long as the original.
How We Work
Our projects are completed without compromise. Through using like-for-like materials and sourcing compatible materials that work with the fabric of the building, we can guarantee that our work will last as long as the original.
What was there originally we put back as it was originally, Parker's Roman cement, fine casting plaster, reclaimed Baltic pine, restoration-grade glass.
We assess the existing construction, the materials used and the techniques employed when it was first built before we touch anything.
Methodologies are instructed and checked by a seasoned IHBC conservation surveyor, who advises our clients and ourselves.
Hand-made sills, not machined. Glass cut and bedded on site as it would have been in the 19th century. Rag and stick, run on site.
Lime-based products are carbon neutral and sympathetic to original substrates. Removed material is crushed, sieved and reused.
Repairs that cannot be distinguished from the original, work that stands the test of time and lasts as long as the building.
